The lack of facilities in managing and making official letters applied by the public can disrupt the performance of the staff and slowing down the pace in providing the official letters. There are some problems that is happening in the office such as the general administrative job is still done manually, the working hour in the office is limited, the lose of the public data that has already submitted in advance, and the making of report is not well-organized so that the head officer do not know both all the reports and the reports submitted in certain period of time. The researcher aims to create the android-based administration service application to facilitate the public in making the official letters as needed. The application is designed as a tool of fast, precise, and effective communication between the public and the officer. The application was built to facilitate the village government in managing the reports in making official letters delivered by the citizen of Jenggala. Therefore, the application is expected to provide convenience and flexibility in making official letters in Jenggala Village.
Suckma Azani, Muhammad Benny Chaniago Copyright (c) 2021 Suckma Azani, Muhammad Benny Chaniago https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 http://pubs.ascee.org/index.php/ijabis/article/view/444 Mon, 14 Jun 2021 00:00:00 +0700 Design of Information Systems Web-Based Inventory Using The FAST (The Framework Of Application System Thinking) Method at PT.Whoto Indonesia Sejahtera in Bandung http://pubs.ascee.org/index.php/ijabis/article/view/445
The application of information system technology is now essential for companies to run a fast, accurate, reliable, and detailed information flow. PT. Whoto Indonesia Sejahtera Bandung branch is a company engaged in the marketing and distribution of skincare products. Inventory information system in PT. Whoto Indonesia Sejahtera Bandung has not been fully computerized and still uses Microsoft Excel, starting from recording incoming goods, requesting goods from the sales department, processing goods out by the warehouse to making reports, so there will be a possibility when an error occurs in the process search for data needed. The best solution to solve existing problems is to design a web-based inventory application because it is better than recording the previous system so that it can find out and make it easier to provide fast, accurate, and accurate information. Website-based inventory information system design uses a system development method that is FAST (Framework for Application System Thinking) consisting of phases of Scope Definition, Problem Analysis, Requirements Analysis, Logical Design, and Physical Design. The programming languages used in the design of this information system are HTML and PHP and MYSQL as the database.
Rosalin Samihardjo, Iqbal Azhim Hidayat Copyright (c) 2021 Rosalin Samihardjo, Iqbal Azhim Hidayat https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 http://pubs.ascee.org/index.php/ijabis/article/view/445 Mon, 14 Jun 2021 00:00:00 +0700 Educational Platformer Game (OOP-EduGame) to Enhance Student Motivation and Understanding in the Object Oriented Programming Subject http://pubs.ascee.org/index.php/ijabis/article/view/446
The Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) course aims to impart understanding and knowledge to students regarding basic-level object-oriented programming concepts and the implementation of inheritance, encapsulation, and polymorphism. This subject contains abstract concepts that require a high level of understanding and also a sufficiently strong memory which often makes students feel bored. We consider the need for a learning innovation that can boost student learning motivation and also make it easier for them to understand and remember abstract concepts in OOP material. Based on these problems, we plan to use games in learning activities. Games are a potential tool to support learning activities [1], where games can provide great motivation for students to play [2]. Furthermore, games are one of the 3 most popular applications in Southeast Asia[3], where this data is also confirmed by the Global Mobile Consumer Survey which shows that 47% of the population in Southeast Asia play games through their smartphones. Mobile game applications are also proven to be able to contribute to learning outcomes and student learning motivation. After conducting a review of the literature and analyzing related research, we think that the educational game application can be used theoretically as a solution to the problems we have described. This application is available anytime and anywhere that allows students to look deeper into the materials and to offer a virtual learning environment that is not restricted by the time and place to work together and share ideas for solving programming problems. The educational game that we developed is called OOP-EduGame, this game is a platformer game genre that is one of the most popular game genres. The development method for this application uses the ADDIE model. The results of validation from experts and the responses from users as a basis for measuring the readiness of the application for use in learning activities are also presented.
Azhar Ahmad Smaragdina, Ahmad Mursyidun Nidhom, Dila Umnia Soraya, Gres Dyah Kusuma Ningrum, Muhammad Iqbal Akbar Copyright (c) 2021 Azhar Ahmad Smaragdina, Ahmad Mursyidun Nidhom, Dila Umnia Soraya, Gres Dyah Kusuma Ningrum, Muhammad Iqbal Akbar https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 http://pubs.ascee.org/index.php/ijabis/article/view/446 Mon, 14 Jun 2021 00:00:00 +0700 Optimization Model of Media Selection through Integer Programming http://pubs.ascee.org/index.php/ijabis/article/view/447
The impact of communication through advertisement and promotion plays a vital role in the success or failure of products and services. Media planning is required for selection of advertising media and development and allocation of the advertising resources. Therefore, the aim of this paper is to develop an integer programming on media selection for maximizing audience exposure in promoting Technical Education and Vocational Training (TVET) skill training offer in Malaysia particularly for the school leavers. This paper addresses the problem for media selection that can maximize audience exposures considering a list of constraints ranging from costing per media, days for preparation and operational expenditure. The model was designed based on the integer programming method and the solution obtained shows the decision aids in selecting an effective media mix in order to achieve maximum performance in promoting skills training programs.
Safiza Salleh, Siti Haida Ismail, Haslaile Abdullah Copyright (c) 2021 Safiza Salleh, Siti Haida Ismail, Haslaile Abdullah https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 http://pubs.ascee.org/index.php/ijabis/article/view/447 Mon, 14 Jun 2021 00:00:00 +0700 Analysis of Factors Affecting Rice Production in Kulon Progo District in 2012-2017 Using Software R and Geoda http://pubs.ascee.org/index.php/ijabis/article/view/448
Development in the agricultural sector is one of the basic needs for food security in Indonesia. One goal is to improve the quality of agricultural production in order to create food security and increase the welfare of farmers. Based on BPS data in 2016, the number of paddy production in Kulon Progo Regency is at number 4, relatively low compared to other districts in DI Yogyakarta Province. Rice production in Kulon Progo Regency in 2016 was recorded at 116,452.30 tons. and in 2017 there was a decrease in rice production by 0.08% with production of 113,358.80 tons. Increasing rice production needs to be done, because the need for rice will increase every year. Therefore an analysis of the factors that affect rice production will be carried out. The analytical method used is panel data regression. The results of this study, the best panel data regression model using CEM. Variable harvest area, number of farmers, and average production can explain the variable of rice production by 98.521%. The model equation is as follows:
Production = -320.748685 + 6,598419 LAPit - 0.065235 JPit + 8.264648 RRPit
Siti Rahmawati Hindo, Tuti Purwaningsih Copyright (c) 2021 Siti Rahmawati Hindo, Tuti Purwaningsih https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 http://pubs.ascee.org/index.php/ijabis/article/view/448 Tue, 15 Jun 2021 00:00:00 +0700
